My love for weddings

Sorry for the lack of posting. Things have been absolutely crazy lately! We officially moved into our house last Friday and as everyone knows, moving goes hand in hand with unpacking. Between my first year of teaching and other things going on in my life, it’s been hard to find time to unpack. Hopefully life will settle down soon so our house will stop looking like a pile of boxes! I can’t wait to take pictures once it’s all nice and decorated (and I know a lot of people are anxious to see the pictures as well!).

So anyway, this weekend I had not one but two weddings to attend (no wonder I have no time to unpack!). I have no idea why, but weddings always put me in such a wonderful mood. Maybe it’s because everyone is always so happy and ready to celebrate the love that these two people have for each other. Maybe it’s because I absolutely love seeing all of the little touches people incorporate to make their wedding as unique to them as possible. Maybe it’s because I’m a hopeless romantic and absolutely loved planning my own wedding (and secretly still look through wedding magazines because they are so much fun). Maybe it’s because it’s always fun to get dressed up and dance the night away.
